Disney has shared a first look at one of the stunning new floats for the upcoming Disney Princess Cavalcade, debuting this summer at Disney Adventure World.

Designed by set designer Thomas Gallou, the float features a wealth of intricate details inspired by the worlds of the Disney Princesses. Rather than recreating scenes from the animated films, the designs offer original interpretations created specifically for the new cavalcade in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Producer Claire Salmon revealed that the floats combine complex engineering with immersive storytelling, hiding lighting, sound and technical systems within the elaborate designs. “They’re truly stunning,” she said, adding that every angle reveals new details and hidden surprises.

The Disney Princess Cavalcade will be the first cavalcade ever presented at Disney Adventure World, featuring beautifully themed floats, original music and an interactive show stop where guests can dance alongside the performers.
