World Premiere has now received a new decorative update with several elegant framed sketches of famous Disney characters near the entrance.
The black-and-white portraits feature characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell, Genie Aladdin and Jasmine, Anna, Elsa and Olaf, Donald, Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie, and characters from The Lion King including Mufasa, Rafiki, Scar, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed.

These illustrations are creations by Disney animator Eric Goldberg and come from the book An Animator’s Gallery: Eric Goldberg Draws the Disney Characters, published by Disney Editions in 2015.

The arrival of these drawings at World Premiere fits nicely with the building’s new theme, which celebrates Hollywood / Los Angeles and the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank.

The update also comes at a special time, as Eric Goldberg will officially be named a Disney Legend during the Disney Legends Awards ceremony on August 16, 2026, as part of D23: The Ultimate Fan Event.

World Premiere, previously known as Studio 1, officially opened in May 2025 after a major transformation. Since then, additional decorations have been appearing, and teams continue to improve the space with new details.
All guests need to walk through World Premiere to access the rest of the park. Inside, guests can also shop at Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique or eat at Hollywood Gardens Restaurant.
