Since July 24, 2026, guests can enjoy the new Disney Princess Cavalcade along the shores of Adventure Bay. The interactive parade features Rapunzel, Vaiana, Raya and Tiana, who celebrate their unique worlds aboard colourful floats.
These four Princesses are known for their courage and determination. With original music, energetic choreography and interactive moments, the cavalcade will become a regular part of the entertainment at Disney Adventure World.
Parade route around Adventure Bay
The Disney Princess Cavalcade follows the new parade route alongside Adventure Bay, the central lake of Disney Adventure World.
It starts near the entrance to the future land inspired by Disney Animation’s The Lion King. The floats then travel towards The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge before returning to the starting point.

Guests can join the adventure
Partway along the route, the Princesses step down from their floats and invite guests to become part of the experience. Each Princess introduces movements inspired by her own story. Vaiana performs dance steps influenced by traditional Polynesian dance, while Raya demonstrates movements inspired by martial arts.

Together with their adventurous dancers, the Princesses select guests to join the choreography and become part of the story. The new cavalcade took around a year and a half to develop, followed by an impressive 287 hours of rehearsals.

From the animated films to the floats
When designing the floats, costumes and choreography, the creative teams at Disneyland Paris took inspiration from the original animated films. They also looked at the architecture, traditions and cultures that influenced each story.
The costumes were designed by the Disneyland Paris costume team and made in France. Their colours and details reflect the unique atmosphere of each Princess’s world.

The floats include several recognisable locations:
- Motunui from Vaiana
- The Heart Palace from Raya and the Last Dragon
- The festive streets of New Orleans from The Princess and the Frog
- The Snuggly Duckling from Tangled
The Princesses’ sidekicks are also joining the adventure. Look closely and you may spot Heihei, Pua, Tuk Tuk, Ray and Pascal travelling alongside the floats.

Plenty of hidden details
As always, the magic can be found in the smallest details. The Disneyland Paris teams created many handmade accessories for the dancers and floats, including:
- 120 metres of handmade fringe for Vaiana’s kites
- 900 pieces of fabric for the manes of Raya’s dragons
- 24 hand-sculpted and painted feathers for the staff carried by Tiana’s friends
- 13 decorative ducks on Rapunzel’s float

Brand-new original music
Music plays an important part in the Disney Princess Cavalcade. Two original songs were created especially for the experience and recorded in Nashville and Paris with around 50 musicians.
The soundtrack takes inspiration from the iconic music of the four Princesses while adding an energetic and festive sound created for the cavalcade.

A new chapter for entertainment at Disney Adventure World
The Disney Princess Cavalcade replaces the Disney Marching Band with Minnie Mouse, which had performed on Adventure Way since the opening of the park’s expansion.
According to Disneyland Paris, the cavalcade will take place several times a day throughout the year. Performances may still be changed, delayed or cancelled without notice due to weather conditions, technical difficulties or other unexpected circumstances.

This is not the first parade to appear at the second park. When it was still known as Walt Disney Studios Park, guests could enjoy entertainment such as Disney Cinema Parade and Disney’s Stars ‘n’ Cars.
However, the Disney Princess Cavalcade is the first cavalcade to use the new parade route since the opening of the Disney Adventure World expansion.
