Disneyland Paris has revealed the results of the extensive refurbishment of Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), which officially reopens on July 28, 2026 after more than two months of work. While the attraction received a wide range of technical and cosmetic improvements, the biggest talking point is the brand-new Snow White figure in the attraction’s final scene. Interestingly, the Prince and his horse, which were previously part of the finale, are no longer physical figures and have instead been replaced by a painted mural.
A New Snow White Figure
The attraction’s final scene now features a completely new Snow White Audio-Animatronic figure. Handmade from resin and carefully hand-painted in workshops in Seine-et-Marne, the new figure more closely matches Snow White’s appearance in Disney’s 1937 animated classic.
According to Disneyland Paris, the replacement not only improves the visual accuracy of the scene but also makes maintenance operations safer for Cast Members working on the attraction.
Prince and Horse No Longer Physical Figures
One of the biggest surprises is that the Prince and his horse are no longer present as physical figures in the attraction’s finale. Instead, Disneyland Paris has added them as part of a newly enhanced painted backdrop. While the updated mural brings the ending closer to the animated film, fans familiar with the previous version may notice the absence of the figures that had been part of the attraction for many years.
Refreshed Queue and Restored Cottage Scene
The refurbishment included much more than the final scene. Guests will notice a refreshed queue area featuring:
- Newly painted floors, walls, railings and woodwork.
- Refurbished columns and decorative elements.
- A brand-new themed chandelier.
Inside the attraction, the famous cottage scene has been extensively restored. Walls were completely sanded and repainted, while the wooden beams, platforms and the Seven Dwarfs figures all received fresh hand-painted finishes by the Disneyland Paris Central Workshops.
Technical Improvements Throughout the Attraction
Behind the scenes, Disney teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Design & Delivery, Maintenance and the Central Workshops completed a wide range of technical maintenance to keep the classic Fantasyland attraction operating at its best.
Additional improvements include:
- Refreshed black-light paint throughout the attraction.
- Newly repainted flooring.
- Cleaned and optimized lighting.
- A new hand-painted Snow White mural replacing the old “Exit Only” sign near the attraction exit.
Exterior Work Continues
Although guests can once again enjoy the attraction from July 28, scaffolding will remain visible on the exterior façade until autumn 2026. The ongoing work is part of the larger Fantasyland rooftop renovation project, which will improve access for Entertainment teams and accommodate updated pyrotechnic equipment.
With a beautifully restored interior, improved lighting and an all-new Snow White figure, Disneyland Paris has given one of its most beloved Fantasyland attractions a fresh new look while preserving the charm that guests have enjoyed for decades.
