Work continues on the future Disney Wonders shop in Disney Village, and another major part of the new facade has now been installed.
The new Peter Pan-themed facade is now visible on the building, giving us another look at the design Disney previously shared in the concept art for the renewed Disney Village.
The facade features artwork inspired by Peter Pan and Tinker Bell. In the original concept art, this part of the building also appeared to include a pixie dust effect in the evening, so we are looking forward to seeing how it will look once the lighting and special effects are fully working.
Disney previously announced that Disney Wonders was planned to open in late summer. For now, we are still waiting for an update to see if this timeline will be met and when the shop will officially open.
Over the past few weeks, the teams working on the Disney Village transformation have already added several new elements to the building, including artwork inspired by Iron Man and Black Panther. The new Peter Pan facade is another big step in the transformation of the former Disney Store.
It is still not very easy to see what is happening inside the future Disney Wonders shop, as construction walls continue to block most of the view. However, on the Sports Bar & Lounge side of the building, some walls are now down, revealing the first set of windows.
Disney Wonders promises to offer a bright and modern shopping experience that immerses guests in their favourite Disney stories.
The new shop is part of the large-scale transformation currently taking place across Disney Village. Several locations in the entertainment district have already been renovated or replaced with completely new concepts, with Disney Wonders expected to become one of the biggest new retail additions.
