Since the beginning of summer 2026, Disneyland Paris has been gradually introducing new themed payment terminals across shops, restaurants and food locations in both Disney Parks.
Created in collaboration with official partner Visa, these new terminals are actually a first for a Disney Park. Several Disneyland Paris teams worked together for months on the project, including Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Maintenance, Information Technology and the Central Workshops.
Payment terminals that match their surroundings
Instead of using the same design everywhere, Disneyland Paris has created 10 different themed versions. Each one is designed to blend into its surroundings, covering the five lands of Disneyland Park as well as areas of Disney Adventure World such as Avengers Campus, World of Frozen and World Premiere Plaza.
There are plenty of fun details to spot. In Fantasyland, the terminal casing takes the shape of a crown, while the World of Frozen version features an engraved crocus flower. Over in Worlds of Pixar, you can spot the famous Luxo Ball.
Even the screens have received some extra Disney magic! Special animations have been created for different locations, including a treasure chest opening in Adventureland and a piece of cheese mysteriously being eaten at La Place de Rémy.
The themed casings combine resin and aluminium and were designed by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris together with Disneyland Paris’ Central Workshops, using techniques including metalworking, engraving and painting.
More than 500 terminals
In total, more than 500 payment terminals are being replaced across shopping and dining locations at Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World.
The rollout has been taking place throughout summer 2026 and is expected to be fully completed in August 2026.
