A brand-new daytime parade is coming to Disneyland Park in 2028, bringing a new generation of Disney parade magic to Disneyland Paris!
The new parade will replace Disney Stars on Parade and will be the first completely new daytime parade at Disneyland Park since 2017. Created especially for Disneyland Paris, it will become one of the main daytime entertainment offerings at the park.
Mickey Mouse leads a new Disney parade
Led by Mickey Mouse and his friends, the daily parade will celebrate timeless Disney magic and the power of dreams with brand-new, state-of-the-art floats, new costumes, music and plenty of beloved Disney characters.
Characters already confirmed to be part of the parade include Genie and Jasmine from Aladdin, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel from Tangled and Miguel from Disney and Pixar’s Coco. More characters and details are expected to be revealed as we get closer to its debut in 2028.
“Parades are part of the DNA of a Disney Park, and this one raises the bar. From the float designs and costumes to the music, every element has been carefully crafted with passion and a lot of heart,” said Dana Harrel, Vice President Entertainment at Disneyland Paris.
“What excites me most is how creativity speaks across generations: timeless stories that both parents and kids will adore. We’re confident it will be a magical celebration that will captivate guests of all ages.”
More than 10,000 hours of development
A lot of work is already going into creating this new parade. Disneyland Paris revealed that the project has required more than 10,000 hours of research and technical development.
Nearly 225 sketches for costumes, wigs and makeup have also been created to help bring the different Disney stories and characters to life.
The new parade is scheduled to make its debut at Disneyland Park in 2028, marking the end of the Disney Stars on Parade era and the beginning of a completely new daytime parade for Disneyland Paris.
