Another new Disney topiary has appeared at Disneyland Park. After the Cheshire Cat was recently installed near Casey’s Corner, Tick-Tock Croc from Peter Pan has now joined Central Plaza near the entrance to Adventureland.
A little while ago, we shared that a new Cheshire Cat topiary had been installed on Central Plaza, near Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A.
Now, another Disney character has joined the greenery at Disneyland Park. A new Tick-Tock Croc topiary from Peter Pan has been installed opposite Sleeping Beauty Castle, close to the entrance of Adventureland.
The new topiary shows Tick-Tock Croc covered in green plants, with his mouth wide open and a clock placed between his teeth. The design is surrounded by different plants and fits nicely into the more adventurous setting near Adventureland.
When the Cheshire Cat topiary appeared earlier, Disneyland Paris already shared that teams were working behind the scenes on another topiary. This has now turned out to be Tick-Tock Croc.
At the moment, only two of these new topiaries have appeared, and they seem to be placed in different locations around Central Plaza. We expect that more could be added in the coming weeks or months, although it is currently unclear which Disney characters might appear next.
These topiaries are not part of a specific season or seasonal event. Disneyland Paris previously explained that the project is a collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, the Horticulture team, and the Entertainment Workshops. The idea is also inspired by the famous topiaries from the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival at Walt Disney World.
We will be keeping an eye on Central Plaza over the coming weeks and months to see which new topiaries appear next.
It is definitely nice to see something different in this area, especially after the Gardens of Wonder had been part of Central Plaza for several years.
