Disney Wonders is the result of the complete transformation of the former Disney Store and is another step in the much larger project to completely reinvent Disney Village, with the possibility of further expansion in the future.
But Disney Wonders is not the only project currently underway. Annette’s Diner is also being renovated. The restaurant will remain, but will receive a refresh. Construction is also continuing on Casa Giulia, which is being built on the former Planet Hollywood site and is expected to open later this year.
And work has now also started on the transformation of the Gaumont cinema complex.
The entrance to Disney Village, which for many years was dominated by the huge Planet Hollywood building, will soon look completely different.
But what happens next?
What about Billy Bob’s, Starbucks, the former Hurricanes building that currently houses Rainforest Café, and the other buildings on this side of Disney Village?
At the moment, it is not clear… or rather, not clear YET.
Disneyland Paris is organizing a special exclusive event for invited guests next week, where more information about the future plans for Disney Village will be revealed.
