The transformation of Disney Village is getting ready to move into its next major phase.
With work on the North Block almost finished, Disneyland Paris is getting ready to start the next phase on the opposite side of Disney Village, known as the South Block.

Teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Operating Participants and Design & Delivery are already working on the plans. The goal remains the same as during the first phase: to modernize Disney Village step by step while keeping the overall area open and accessible to guests as much as possible.
A First Look at the South Block
Disneyland Paris has shared a first piece of concept art for this next phase, and it already gives us an idea of the direction they are taking.
The artwork shows the future look of The Steakhouse area in Disney Village, with a more modern exterior while still keeping the architectural style introduced elsewhere in the transformation. The design combines brick, wood and perforated metal, together with larger windows, new landscaping and outdoor seating areas.
The concept art also shows more greenery around the building and a more open pedestrian area, continuing the cleaner and more contemporary look that is gradually being introduced across Disney Village.
Work on the South Block is expected to begin in 2027.

More Changes Still to Be Announced
Disneyland Paris has not yet revealed all the concepts, restaurants or shops that will be included in this next phase, so there is still plenty we do not know.
One major change has already been confirmed: Rainforest Café will permanently close by the end of 2026 as part of the transformation.
More information about the South Block and the future of this side of Disney Village is expected to be revealed over the coming months.
With the North Block nearing completion, this next phase will bring the transformation another big step closer to giving the entire Disney Village area a completely refreshed look.
