A new selection of snacks recently debuted at World Premiere Plaza in Disney Adventure World. The new “Cones Buddies” are available from a food truck located near the entrance to Adventure Way and feature four different Disney sidekicks.
Several tables and chairs are available nearby, making it an easy spot to take a short break between World Premiere Plaza and Adventure Way in Disney Adventure World.
Four Disney sidekicks to choose from
There are currently four different “Cones Buddies” available, each priced at €7. All of them use a sweet puff pastry cone filled with vanilla whipped cream and different toppings inspired by the featured character.
The Ancestor’s Guardian – Mushu
Sweet puff pastry cone with vanilla whipped cream, crispy strawberries, crunchy lime pieces and diced kiwi.
The Island Companion – Pua
Sweet puff pastry cone with vanilla whipped cream, diced strawberries, caramelised almond and hazelnut pieces.
The Tower Acolyte – Pascal
Sweet puff pastry cone with vanilla whipped cream, diced mango and crunchy green pearls.
The Sea Pal – Flounder
Sweet puff pastry cone with vanilla whipped cream and diced pineapple.
The character decorations on top make each version easily recognisable, with Mushu, Pua, Pascal and Flounder each getting their own themed cone.
Are they worth €7?
We tried the new snacks during our visit and visually they are definitely very cute. The taste was okay as well, although we would have liked to see a little more of the whipped cream continuing further down inside the cone.
Our biggest issue is the size. The cones are quite small, especially considering the €7 price tag. They make for a fun themed snack and certainly look good in photos, but for us the portion feels a little too small for the price.
