As Disneyland Paris already announced across several platforms and press releases, brand-new Halloween decorationshave arrived at Disneyland Park for the 2026 Disney Halloween Festival.
This year’s decorations seem to mark a new direction for the season, with less focus on ghosts and the traditional harvest theme and noticeably more attention on the Disney Villains.
A new Villains look at Main Street Station
The changes start as soon as guests enter Disneyland Park.
The Disneyland Railroad Main Street Station has received a completely new Halloween setup featuring four Art Deco-style stained-glass windows inspired by Ursula, Maleficent, Dr. Facilier and Hades. The windows are surrounded by burnt-out candles, giving the station a darker Villains-inspired look.
A new Disney Halloween Festival medallion has also been installed on the station.

After walking underneath Main Street Station, guests will spot more new decorations around Town Square and the Gazebo. The gardens are decorated with Mickey and Minnie-shaped pumpkins, while candle decorations inspired by Donald Duck and Goofy can also be found around the area.

More candles have been placed on the Gazebo itself. Unfortunately, these do not light up after dark, although many of the other decorations around Town Square do.

New banners across Main Street, U.S.A.
New Disney Halloween Festival banners can now be found on the lampposts along Main Street, U.S.A., featuring silhouettes of different Disney Villains.

Despite all these new additions in Disneyland Paris, Main Street does feel noticeably different this year.
The familiar ghosts are no longer present, and they are also missing from the classic Main Street background music loop. The pumpkins previously placed on several Main Street façades are gone as well, while the Halloween garlands have also not returned.
Because of this, some areas of Main Street can feel a little emptier during the daytime compared to previous Halloween seasons.
Once night falls, however, the atmosphere changes. Halloween projections and effects return to the Main Street façades, bringing the street to life after dark. These effects debuted last year and quickly became popular with guests.
The Stitch meet & greet location near Casey’s Corner has also been decorated in a similar style to the rest of the new Main Street Halloween look.

The Boarding House meet & greet location also received some new Halloween decorations. At this location guests can meet Donald & Daisy Duck in new Halloween outfits.

A completely new look for Royal Castle Stage
The Royal Castle Stage has received one of the biggest changes this year with a completely new Halloween set.
The stage now looks like the entrance to an old and mysterious castle. Large stone arches and wooden gates are covered with twisting green vines, while orange and purple shields add some Halloween colour.

Black ravens can also be spotted sitting on top of the gates and surrounding structures, adding to the darker Villains-inspired atmosphere.
At several moments during the day, Maleficent and the Evil Queen appear at this location and pose for photos with a limited number of guests.

New Phantom Manor decorations in Frontierland
Frontierland now features a mix of new and returning Halloween decorations.
One of the biggest additions can be found around the Unlucky Nugget Saloon, where new Phantom Manor-inspired decorations and music have been added.

The nearby Last Chance Café has also received its own Phantom Manor-inspired overlay for the Halloween season, expanding the spooky atmosphere around this part of Frontierland.

Near Big Thunder Mountain and Casa de Coco, the colourful Día de los Muertos decorations have returned. These are among the few major decoration sets from previous years that can still be found in the park this season.

The Frontierland Theater area, however, is no longer decorated for Halloween this year, with the main exception being the The Nightmare Before Christmas meet & greet location.
One familiar Halloween decoration survives in Adventureland
Over in Adventureland, the Pirate Halloween pumpkin tree has returned at Le Coffre du Capitaine.
With so many older decorations being replaced this year in Disneyland Paris, the pirate-themed pumpkin tree is one of the familiar Halloween elements that has survived the changes for now.

A new direction for the Disney Halloween Festival?
The new decorations have already created plenty of discussion among Disneyland Paris fans online.
Some guests are disappointed to see several familiar Halloween elements disappear, particularly the ghosts, pumpkins and garlands that helped create the classic Halloween atmosphere on Main Street.
Others are already curious to see what Disneyland Paris could add next year, with the expectation that 2026 may only be the beginning of a wider evolution and new direction for future editions of the Disney Halloween Festival.
For now, guests can discover all of the new and returning decorations during the Disney Halloween Festival, which continues at Disneyland Paris through November 1, 2026.
