Changes are already becoming visible at Rainforest Café in Disney Village ahead of the restaurant’s permanent closure later this year.
Part of the Rainforest Café shop has now been turned into a stroller parking area, while several of the shelves inside the shop are already empty. The affected shelves previously featured mainly plush toys, but most of these have now disappeared from the store.

There are currently very few plush toys left, with the remaining merchandise selection mainly consisting of Rainforest Café branded clothing and other souvenirs.

Closure officially confirmed
Disneyland Paris officially confirmed the upcoming closure of Rainforest Café in mid-September during a presentation about the future transformation of Disney Village.
An exact closing date has not yet been announced, with Disneyland Paris only confirming that the restaurant will permanently close later this year. The message during the presentation was quite clear: if you still want to visit Rainforest Café at Disney Village, now is the time to do it.
At the same time, Casa Giulia, the new Italian restaurant currently being created on the former Planet Hollywood site, is preparing to open in Disney Village. Both Rainforest Café and Casa Giulia are operated by Bertrand Hospitality.

Rainforest Café has been part of Disney Village for many years and is best known for its immersive jungle atmosphere.
The restaurant features large animal figures, tropical decorations, sound effects and several animatronics throughout the dining rooms, making it one of the most heavily themed restaurants in Disney Village.
Unfortunately, the location has received relatively little investment in recent years. Several effects and animatronics have stopped working completely or no longer move as they once did, making parts of the restaurant feel increasingly dated compared with the newer locations arriving as part of the Disney Village transformation.

For now, Rainforest Café remains open and guests can still visit the restaurant and shop, but its days in Disney Village are officially numbered.
Disneyland Paris has not yet shared any information about what will eventually happen to the Rainforest Café location once the restaurant closes.
We’ll keep you updated once Disneyland Paris confirms the final closing date and reveals more details about the future of this part of Disney Village.
