We have a new update on the refurbishment of the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge in Disneyland Park.
According to a statement from Disneyland Paris that was shared with us by one of our followers, the Sleeping Beauty Castle bridge is now expected to reopen in October 2026. An exact reopening date has not yet been announced.
The fountain effects used during Disney Tales of Magic are also expected to return once the refurbishment project is completed.
Interestingly, Disneyland Paris recently removed the previous mention from its website that the fountain effects would return by the end of September 2026. This could indicate that the project has been slightly delayed.

During our latest visit for the launch weekend of the Disney Halloween Festival at the end of September, we took a closer look at the progress.
The bridge pillars and handrails have now been installed on both sides. The next steps appear to include the installation of lighting fixtures, the removal of scaffolding, and other finishing work.

We also spotted construction workers actively working on the bridge during normal park operating hours.

Despite the ongoing refurbishment, Sleeping Beauty Castle remains accessible. Guests can still enter through Castle Courtyard and via La Tanière du Dragon.
For now, we will have to wait a little longer for the bridge to reopen and for the fountain effects to return to Disney Tales of Magic, but the project is clearly moving closer to completion.
