Original McDonald’s in Disney Village closes permanently tonight February 16, 2026.
After more than 25 years, the original McDonald’s restaurant in Disney Village, which opened back in 1999, will close permanently tonight. The closure comes as McDonald’s France prepares for the opening of its brand-new McDonald’s location, first announced in October 2023.
A Bigger and More Modern Replacement
The new restaurant will officially open on February 18, 2026 and will become the largest McDonald’s in France. It has been designed exclusively for Disneyland Paris as part of the ongoing Disney Village transformation project.
Guests can expect a fresh and modern design, featuring lots of greenery, bright indoor and outdoor seating areas, and architecture created specifically for the resort. The new location will also include playful nods to Disneyland Paris, along with new innovations and services aimed at making ordering faster and more convenient for families and park visitors.
(UPDATE: The new McDonald’s opened one day earlier than expected.)

The old McDonald’s building will be demolished in the near future, making way for the next phase of the Disney Village transformation.
