After four years, the Gardens of Wonder are saying goodbye at Disneyland Park.
Originally introduced as part of the Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary in 2022, these kinetic sculptures of Disney and Pixar characters have been a colorful highlight on Central Plaza, surrounded by beautiful landscaping along Main Street. But now, all of the sculptures are being removed.
Some of them had already disappeared earlier, especially near the Disney Tales of Magic control booth, to make way for temporary decorations like Blooming in Colour: A Journey into Fairy Worlds.

The Gardens of Wonder were divided into several themed areas, including the Disney Classics Garden, Forest Garden, Jungle Garden, Magic Garden, Villains Garden, Disney Princesses Garden, Space Garden, Water Garden, and Asia Garden.

One of the most special features of these sculptures was their movement. They were designed to spin continuously, creating a dynamic and eye-catching effect. However, in recent months, many of them had stopped moving altogether.

Moving to Disney Village
Now Disney is removing the Gardens of Wonder in Disneyland Park, it’s very likely they are being refurbished for a future return, this time at Disney Village, as part of its major transformation project.
In fact, early concept art released by Disney already showed some of these sculptures, featuring Disney Princesses like Belle, Tiana, and Cinderella which were originally located near Sleeping Beauty Castle.
For now, it’s still unclear whether all of the Gardens of Wonder sculptures will return in the future at Disney Village.
