For several months, the pathway between Disney Hotel Cheyenne and the Rio Grande riverbank was closed to guests while Disneyland Paris carried out a major renovation project.
The old concrete walkway was completely removed, allowing teams to redesign and upgrade the layout of the area. During the work, only the first bridge connecting Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe remained accessible, giving guests a way to cross the river.

The timing was not ideal, as the pathway between Disney Hotel Santa Fe and Disney Sequoia Lodge was also closed because of the hotel’s ongoing refurbishment. This made walking between the Disney Hotels and Disney Village slightly more complicated for guests.
The renovation work included pouring new surfaces, installing technical equipment such as streetlights and replanting vegetation and greenery once the groundwork had been completed.

Most of the construction walls have now been removed, and the renovated pathway appears to be nearly finished. Some equipment is still hidden behind a small construction wall, which crews will need to remove, but apart from that, the project looks almost complete.
