Construction on the Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, or what is commonly known as the UP attraction, is also continuing at Disney Adventure World, although at a very slow pace.
Yes, there are occasional changes to be seen, with a few more decorative elements being added here and there. But this is a relatively basic and small construction project for an equally simple and small attraction, yet they don’t seem to be in much of a hurry to remove this rather intrusive construction site from Disney Adventure Way.
The attraction was previously announced to open in 2027, so there is also little reason for them to rush. They probably want to include this attraction in the line-up for Disneyland Paris’ 35th Anniversary celebrations.
Most of the construction is still made up of grey concrete, although some colour is starting to appear here and there. Light bulbs have also already been installed in several locations.
Inside the queue, some decorative elements have been added as well, although these are difficult to see from outside.
We’re especially curious to see when the actual attraction will arrive. Since it’s essentially a carousel-style ride, it should probably be relatively quick to install once it arrives.
The sooner, the better, not only so these construction walls can finally be removed, but also so we can get the direct pathway to Avengers Campus back.
There is still no exact opening date, but our guess is March 2027.
