One year ago, on September 1, 2025, the first new cabins opened at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch. These updated bungalows feature a fresh storyline inspired by the adventures of Donald and Daisy Duck, joined by the Junior Woodchucks.
Recently, Disneyland Paris announced that by the end of September 2026, all of the older bungalows will have been phased out. This means that every cabin available at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch will soon feature the new interiors inspired by Donald, Daisy, and the Junior Woodchucks.
The new cabins have almost exactly the same layout as the old ones. They feel very cozy, with more use of a wood motif throughout the interior. This fits the Disney Davy Crockett theme perfectly and immediately gives the cabin a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The furniture is also quite similar, with a sofa that can be used as a bed and a large table in the dining area. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay, including a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, complete tableware, pots and pans, cutlery, a fridge, and a freezer.
The cabin includes a double bed, three single beds, and extra sleeping space on the sofa. The beds are fantastic, and the linen feels incredibly soft. There is also air conditioning in all rooms, making it easy to set the perfect temperature for a good night’s sleep.
The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a small walk-in closet. This walk-in closet replaces the extra toilet that was available in the old cabins. While the extra storage space is nice, the second toilet was definitely a big plus, especially if you were sharing the cabin with friends or another family. In the new version, there is only one small toilet near the living area.
Another new feature is that you can now open your cabin with your phone through the Disneyland Paris app. You no longer need a key or MagicPass card, although you can still request one at reception if you prefer.
At the time of writing this article, the former Trapper Cabins are still mentioned on the Disney Davy Crockett Ranch page of the official Disneyland Paris website, but probably not for much longer.
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is located about a 10 to 15-minute drive from the Disney Parks. One of the convenient things about staying here is that you can park your car right next to your cabin.
