Crush’s Coaster in Disney Adventure World is now closed for its major refurbishment, which is expected to last until summer 2027.
Many construction walls have already been installed in front of the attraction, and part of the Worlds of Pixar meet and greet location is currently also blocked off. The closure of Crush’s Coaster was first announced in late June 2026, and Disneyland Paris shared a little more information about what will happen during this project.

The work will include a modernization of several important systems, including control systems, sensors, communication equipment, and selected sections of track. Some effects and scenic elements inside the attraction will also be refreshed. The refurbishment is expected to last around ten months and will take place in two main phases.

During the first phase, teams will work on many of the technical systems that are essential to the attraction’s operation. This includes replacing several technical components and carrying out work on selected parts of the track.
The second phase will focus on testing and technical validation. This is an important step to make sure everything works properly and safely before Crush’s Coaster reopens to guests.
The project will not only focus on technical improvements. Disneyland Paris will also use this closure to take care of the attraction’s show elements. Teams will clean, repaint, and repair several scenic pieces throughout the ride.
With a closure running from September 2026 until summer 2027, this will be one of the longest and most important refurbishments in the attraction’s history.
It is definitely a long wait for fans of Crush’s Coaster, but the work should help keep this popular Disney Adventure World attraction in great shape for many years to come.
